Found in 1897, Church Road combines traditional winemaking techniques with modern thinking and innovation to craft premium, complex wines. A richly textured Pinot Gris with exceptional aromatics. Pear drop and nectarine aromas are heightened by lifted ginger spice, rose and honeysuckle notes, while the palate is rich and long with a medium dry finish. This wine is well matched with seafood, white meats and many Asian-inspired dishes.

On the nose, nashi pear and white blossom greet you with supporting notes of citrus and candied ginger. On the palate, the wine is concentrated and poised with bright flavours of pear and lychee. Pinot gris for the Exiled comes from the St Helena clone of Pinot gris and is grown on both Waiheke and Ponui Islands. The wines are chilled to below zero to stop the fermentation before blending, the blend is held at low temperatures in the cellar until bottling to retain as much of the natural carbon dioxide as possible.

The Pinot Gris is a pale straw colour with a hint of gold. A fragrant wine with jasmine, almond and pear notes. Palate is full-bodied wine with spice, pear, fig and honeysuckle favours.
